Anis A. Khan MD & CEO Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) and Chairman, Association of Bankers Bangladesh (ABB), has won the Business Innovation Award category at the UK Bangladesh Catalysts of Commerce & Industry (UKBCCI) Inaugural Business & Entrepreneur Excellence Awards 2016 and Gala Dinner.

Held at the London Hilton Park Lane on Sunday 20th November, the glittering awards ceremony saw Anis win the award in the presence of over 800 guests, made up of dignitaries, VIPs, MPs and prominent members of the business community.

A career banker for many years, prior to joining MTB, Anis earlier served in a multitude of roles for 21 years, with the then British owned Grindlays Bank plc and its successor banks - ANZ Grindlays Bank and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), both in Bangladesh and abroad. Highly qualified, Anis frequently delivers lectures and presentations on investment in Bangladesh, corporate governance, banking and the capital market, both at home and abroad. A keen collector of art, Anis is a member of the Board of Governors of the Society for Promotion of Bangladesh Art (SPBA).
