Latifur Rahman is the Chairman and CEO of Transcom Group, which has been operating in Bangladesh since 1885, having started the business with tea plantations. He started his business career in 1967, and took over the reins of the group steering his enterprise through very challenging times after the country gained independence in 1971.

Transcom is now one of the leading conglomerates in the

country, with an annual turnover of US$460 million. They employ over 14,000 people.
